Think, Talk, Thrive: Strategies to Cultivate Struggle and Sense-Making in Math
This 4-day interactive workshop is geared for elementary and middle school math teachers with a focus on:
- student-centered math instruction
- emphasizing student sense-making, productive struggle, and collaborative talk
- math identity and leveraging student voice
Teachers will walk away with ready-to-go lessons and tasks tailored to their classrooms, knowledge and applicability of student-centered, inclusive instructional practices to enhance student talk and critical thinking, and 16 WA OSPI certification hours (STEM applicable)
